Join Us and Become a Volunteer Today
We are a group of dedicated volunteers including pet owners, animal lovers and advocates.
We strive to increase adoptions at the York County Animal Shelter by providing public awareness and educational events throughout the year and improve the well-being of homeless pets at the YCAS and in our community.
We make the animals feel comfortable at the shelter by walking the dogs and socializing with the adoptable cats.
If there were no volunteers, these animals would not leave their kennel…EVER.
The human interaction we give them makes them become more adoptable and comforts them in this stressful situations.
Without the dedicated animal shelter workers and volunteers, transport volunteers, foster homes and loving adopters we couldn’t do what we do.
FYCAS is a volunteer based nonprofit organization.
What volunteer positions does FYCAS offer?
